Introductory Ideas & History of Transsexuality

I'm not sure why, but most people never question their gender identity. That can make it really hard to start reading about those who do. Even if you're questioning your own gender identity, it can still be hard to know what that means. For many years, people with atypical gender identities and those with academic interests in us have thought about gender identity. Something that sometimes makes thinking about our lives easier, is to share terms and concepts with one another. This section contains some personal writings by me to help you get begin to learn about gender identityt conflicts. This section also contains referece materials, both current and historical, that were prepared by mental health and medical professionals.

Questions to Help Thinking about Your Gender Identity: This is a list of questions and thoughts I have put together to help you clarify your feelings. I also explain various options other than transitioning and offers a caution against transitioning.
